Signs your child may need support

Many children struggle with these. They are skills — and skills can be practised at home.

📖 Slow or effortful reading

One page takes a long time, or they avoid reading altogether.

🧠 Forgets instructions

You say three things. They remember one.

⏳ Starts but can't finish

Homework begins, then drifts. An hour later, half a page is done.

✏️ Careless mistakes

They know the answer, but skip steps, miss signs or copy wrongly.

😢 Tears at homework time

Homework ends in crying, shouting or “I can't do it”.

🔎 Not sure where to start?

Try an online screening in our Quick Assessment Corner — for attention, planning, learning style and more. Or just message us on WhatsApp.

about me

Hi, I'm Dr. Megha Wasnik

I'm an occupational therapist. For 15 years I have worked with children with special needs — including autism, ADHD and learning difficulties — at Divya Place in Nagpur.

I've seen how much changes when parents know what to do at home. So now I bring those skills online, to families wherever they live.

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • PG in Mental Health Counselling
  • 15 years with children with special needs

questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Is this therapy or a diagnosis?

No. This is an academic skills home program with parent guidance. It is not therapy, and it does not give a diagnosis. A screening is also not a diagnosis — it only helps us understand where your child needs support.

Do I need to be in Nagpur?

No. The program is fully online. Families anywhere in India, and Indian families abroad, can join.

What languages do you use?

English, Hindi and Marathi — whichever is easiest for you and your child.

How much does it cost?

We are starting with a limited pilot for the first few families. Message us on WhatsApp to know more.

What do I need to do as a parent?

You do the weekly activities with your child at home. I guide you on what to do, how to do it, and what to change as your child progresses.
